Social rehabilitation
Any person, irrespective of age, sex, level of health, social status, nature of physical or mental disorder, has the right to live and develop in full.
Social rehabilitation is essential for different population groups, including amotivational ones, i.e. for people with various disorders, children, teenagers, adults and elderly people, persons, which spent a part of their lives imprisoned, people with dependencies etc.
Drawing up a programme of individual growth, our personnel stimulates clients’ motivation, their desire and skills for independent and full of value life, provides customers’ social inclusion. It means renewal and improvement of social, physical, psychological and professional skills, which helps to successful integration into society.
Main tasks of social rehabilitation:
- Assessment of social functioning abilities of clients – to understand existing social barriers, level of social skills and level of activity.
- Assistance in development and improvement of clients’ social skills – assessment of personal care skills, orientation in the social environment, ability to make decisions and take responsibility, social and communication skills.
- Awareness and use of resources – search for clients’ resources, in their environment and social institutions.
- Respect for human rights and standards of ethics (including observance of confidentiality and anonymity).
